To add to my photography arsenal, Ann got me an IR game camera for Christmas. I decided to set it up all night in the woods across the street. In the first three pics, I baited it with corn, and look, even Bugs Bunny made an appearance. Look at all the eyes in the background in the first pic.
Over the years, I have gotten several glimpses of this Gray Fox at night, but never a real good look. Last night I set up the camera and baited it with chicken bones from dinner, and look who showed up. I am really glad to finally get a pic of him(or her.)
At the bottom of each pic, you can see the moon phase, temp, time and date....

I am having a blast with mine. I am lucky enough to have a large woods right across the street, all kinds of stuff lives in there. I go out about dark, set it up and leave it all night. I usually set it on 10 second or one minute timing, so is not to miss any quick animals.
wow lucky you what a great present ! You must have been good this year and what fun photo's ! Love
Do You think there might be one of those Bigfeet out there ?? (:-D)
I find this so amazing! Awesome camera!
Thank you very much Manikin, EJW-54, lundy, pops52, musikchoo & kingshawn...I do not believe in Bigfoot, best not to get me started on that nonsense....
Does it have motion detecting mode? That would be cool. I'd love to do that, too. All I'd capture here would be cats & raccoons. Maybe a possum.
The system works off motion detection, that is how these photos were taken. It also records all the info you see at the bottom on each photo. As far as what you photo, you never know what is prowling around at night.
Totally cool! I'm in suburbia, so our wildlife is limited. Maybe a rat! 2 miles from here are Mountain Lions, deer, coyotes, wild turkeys & bobcats though!
