I've tried to do an extensive amount of research on this pattern but have not been able to find it. I did finally get some information about it through a antique expert on German China and I was told that it's Bavaria Germany Tischenreuth/Arzberg late 30s early 40s. It's a pre - war pattern because of the overstamp, however the overstamp is not recorded in any books. I was told that most records were destroyed making it difficult to identify but the appraisal for my collection varied between $1400.00-1715.00. I inherited this from my aunt a few years back and have tried ever since to obtain more information on it. Curious if anyone out there could help me. Thanks so much. By the way the only matching pattern you may find online is on replacements.com and that's actually my pieces. I submitted an inquiry to them and they took my pictures and posted them.
I just purchased some pieces with the same pattern. The marking does not have the overstamp - It has the Crown over the Shield P.T marking. Do you have any information on the pattern without the overstamp?
I have not seen any others in this pattern. I'm curious to hear where you may have found them. As for any other information, unfortunately I don't have any but if you can see the original mark than it should be easier to Google that and learn more about it. Thanks
