I have owned these watches for a while now, maybe 90s or early aughts. The first pic shows a Citizen, the second shows the info on the box, the third shows a Kenneth Cole box, the fourth an Anne Klein watch inside that box.

Serial number on the Citizen is 091221
Serial number on the Anne Klein is 10/5666-7

I've looked for dating info on both watches, but most refer to vintage watches, not contemporary. If any of you know how to date these watches, would you pls share that information? Thanks!

We were selling these Citizens out of the case in 2001 at about the price listed on the box. (Though, honestly, I'm a bit confused by the box. The first image looks like the lady's version, not the men's (as indicated by the label on the box). If indeed the Citizen is a lady's watch (small face), I wouldn't use the box for finding information of any sort. When salespeople have to match a box to a product mistakes are commonly made, especially when the boxes look alike.)

Anyway, this model of Citizen was very popular, especially in the women's version. I don't know when it began and if/when the style was retired. I have since moved into a new line of employment.

Regarding the other 2, the Kenneth Cole and Anne Klein were sold from displays in the middle of the department (not from within the case), so I really can't help with those.

Once again, thanks junkcollector, for the expert information and knowledge you so generously shared here on these watches. If I recall correctly, the day I bought these watches, they were loose in a basket on a display counter, and the salesgirl found the boxes and put them in the boxes, and it wasn't until I got them home that I noticed the mismatch. I posted the photos of the boxes on the off-chance someone might be able to tell the approximate year these were sold.

Again, thank you very much indeed, for the help and information.
