This is a circa late 1950's Mateus Sogrape Rose Wine distinctive narrow-necked, flask-shaped bottle, with the "baroque historic mansion" label (Mateus Palace in Vila Real, Portugal). - 12 fl ozs. / bottle 6 1/4" tall
** Mateus is a brand of medium-sweet frizzante rose wine produced in Portugal. The brand was created in 1942 and production began at the end of WW II. - Sogrape, the family company which owns the brand, is the largest wine producer in Portugal and worldwide annual sales exceed 20 million bottles.

The old Mateus Rose...love it..
Yep, over 70 years and still going strong - they changed the bottle a little making it slightly narrower with a longer neck and "modernized" the label.
