WWII Swiss M18-43 helmet in very nice condition; with original liner and chinstrap. Introduced in 1918, these helmets were refurbished in 1943-1944 when the original olive green paint scheme was replaced with a textured black paint finish, the clip on camo cover shown in photo is reversible with the summer camo out, that is very similiar to the splinter patten used by the German army during WWII
the other side of the helmet cover has a autumn color camo pattern
The WWII Swiss army trench shovel is marked: F.A. SCH. 40 [mfg in 1940] comes with a metal carrying sheath dated 1944 with leather straps to secure it to a soldier's belt, all items are of the highest quality, typical of Swiss craftsmanship.
cool!!! very nice piece of history!!!
Thanks, your right, it is a very nice piece of history, just some things I picked up at the swap meet over the last few years at a bargain price!

JimmyC,
I think it's the Finnish M31? the Swiss did use this design during WWII
The Suomi KP/-31 (Suomi-konepistooli or "Submachine-gun Finland") was a submachine gun (SMG) of Finnish design used during World War II
thanks battlegear ,i need to brush up on my smg's . very interesting indeed, thanks james
