A new sign

We recentely purchased this nice 6' Tydol sign from a guy in NJ. Seems as tho his Father in Law had worked for TYDOL and had filled the barn with lots of old porcelain signs from the earlier days with the Company. The dad had recentely passed away and his daughter and husband had moved to NJ to settle some of the "housekeeping" affairs of settling the estate. In the process they found this huge sign which they agreed to sell to us. Great find for us! We were, unfortunately, too late for a little t of the other better stuff that got pilfered before they got to the home. Tydol was actually a trade name for the Tidewater Oil Co of NY. They sold their fuel under the name of Flying A and were in many states across the Nation including out West. In the West they didn't use the Tydol name for some reason but did market Flying A fuel & Veedol oil. We can't wait to get this cool sign up on a pole at @aaaLakesidestorage in Provo.
