I have this back-lit sign that measures 20 inches X 16.5 inches. It's made of plastic and it has a sticker that reads (Visual Marketing Incorporated). it also has a second sticker that reads (Olympia Brewing Company,Olympia St. Paul). I haven't been able to find a single one on the Internet. Would anybody happen to know the history and date these were issued? The only thing I know about this sign is my Dad has had it for a long time. I was born and grew up in Southern California and as a youngster my Dad would to take us on vacation to Canada every year and we would stop in Olympia to take a tour of the brewery. looking at all the Olympia memorabilia really brings back a lot of great memories. Any information would help thank you.

I think it's probably early to mid 80's when it was made. In that timeframe, a lot of the beer companies produced these faux neon signs for their brands. Olympia also made a neon that looked like this. The faux neon, the one you have, would have been the cheaper alternative than neon. Enjoy it especially since it's been in your family for a while.
