This one I picked up NOS. Canadian product, made in Toronto. The manufacturer sticker still relatively clean on the back. By the look and font style of the sticker (on backside) I'd say it's from the 70's. It's not a desired Pam clock. But I fealt being in such good shape it was worth picking up. Like all vintage things being little (or large) time machines, this one, every time I look at it brings me back to the diner in my childhood neighborhood where I used to go and play pinball. I swear that diner had this clock! Or at least, one very similar. So ya, I love this time machine:)
Can you post a pic of the label, Please?
Did Pam (or aka *Canadian* Ray-Neon) make clocks without the Bubble Glass??
I love these old clocks. Mine are my Pride and Joy!!
Thanks for all the love out there. I'll take a pic of the back label for ya antique rose as soon as I can.. No, I don't think Pam made clocks without the bubble face. I haven't seen any. This clock is made by a company out of Don Mills Toronto called CDA (CREATIVE DISPLAY ADVERTISING). At some point I researched it, but I can't remember when exactly they closed.
Hi there antique rose. Jus tried to edit in the backside label of the clock. But for some reason when I try to chose file it won't accept it. Not sure why. Tried several times:/ I'll try again tomorrow. Glitch in the matrix I guess, lol.
I'm interested in seeing the backside/label too. This is similar to the plastic-iconic TGBWC clock. Ya. When the matrix comes back up! Thanks crate, nice timepiece.
Hi there Nobucks. Thanks for the comments. As u can see, I was able to get the backside on the post... I just had to eat the blue pill;)
It's not that common to see the labels still intact on the plastic clocks, I don't think they adhered well. Canadian Cool. Thanks.
Thanks again Nobucks. I didn't know that...From what I was told this sign was only ever in a private collection, so it probably didn't get banged around too much.
