My mom has told me this is a Nescafé coffee jar, but I have been unsuccessful in identifying it as such via web searches. I have discovered however that the markings on the bottom indicate it was made by Anchor Hocking in Houston, TX. I am trying to identify it as my mother lost the lid and I would like to replace it for her if possible. The jar has sentimental family value to her. Any help is greatly appreciated!

Was the lid a metal one or a plastic one?

The lid was plastic and was bright red in color. I can't remember whether or not it has Nescafe embossed on it or not.

Anchor Hocking made several fancy type jars like that in the 1960s and 1970s. we have several Tang jars made by them from that time period..amazingly ornate for a Tang jar. It is a nice jar. They typically had a plastic lid

My mom's mind, at 85, is still sharp and she says it is definitely a Nescafé jar and had the Nescafé logo embossed on the lid. Anyone have one?
