My parents rocking chair

Hello, my parents gave me this rocking chair around 10 years ago and they had it in their living room for at least 25 years. It appears to be mahogany but I'm not sure what kind of hard wood it's made of since my mother refinished it. I love the contrasting lighter wood inlayed on the back and the decorative flat slats. The chair is 30" height from the ground to the top of the back. 23 " wide from arm to arm and 14" height from the ground to the top of the seat. Unfortunately there are no markings that I can find. I was hoping you would be able to tell me a little more about my rocking chair. Thanks for the help, Robin
