This is an unusual item, and have been unable to find any information on it except that the translation of "Uhrenol" from German is "clock oil" There is the word "Mauthe" inscribed, which is a well known clock/watch maker. It is stamped W. Germany on the bottom, which helps date it, but have been unable to locate the maker or any kind of value on it. It is about 8"H x 6"W and approx 1" thick. It seems like an awful lot of watch oil for the home consumer and very decorative for commercial purposes. So I am stumped. I think the hand paintings on this flask are superb and there is no dings, chips or cracks. I purchased it a few years ago at a thrift store because I loved the cherries and cherry blossoms. Looking for any kind of info on this
