WW II Imperial Japanese Marine Helmet

This helmet was brought back to the states by a U.S. Marine vet, but he could not recall where he picked it up. It is a nice example of a Japanese Marine helmet who were the elite of the Japanese forces. The chinstrap is missing, and the soldier's name is painted on the rim and the dome of the helmet.
