I picked up this large 'nightlight' from a picker today. it is the most bizarre piece of kitsch i've seen in a long time. i have no idea when it was made, but the ceramic is completely intact - no cracks or anything which was very surprising. unfortunately, it needs to be completely re-wired and there are a lot of wires in it. when was this made?

Ah, okay, I misunderstood the nightlight remark! Hmm. Could it be a TV lamp?
YES! that's exactly what it is. i said nightlight because it wouldn't put out much light. a tv lamp! that's new to me.
I didn't know about TV lamps myself until I read about them here. :)
