1850s Minton plate in the "HOLLAND" pattern , 8 sided in red/pink & white ....
roughly 13"w.. & has the Gorgon face in the middle...
i love this one & thought I'd share it with you;-)

I found two on the web that both said with gorgon head , so thats how i listed it !
Gorgon had snakes for hair but im sure this doesnt on close inspection ..
i actually didnt think it was a gorgon but listed it as stated ...

i actually have 5 of these, 1 flat plate , 1 platter size plate & 1 platter size with a raised rim in the middle which would have had a taureen or gravy boat in the centre all the same design!!
they cost me £5 the lot no chips or crazing in near new condition .....;-]
