Unfortunately i do not know much about these beautiful dolls. I inherited them from my grandmother. I know they are from Japan and they are porcelain. Any help from anyone would be appreciated.

Lovely. I have two or three of these, not as nice as yours. Will be interested in any information posted on this thread.

Your dolls appear from different time periods , I can not see faces close up but last 2 appear to be Gufun a crushed oyster shell and glue and first 2 look like silk faces . These Japanese dolls are very hard to date as they still make them the same way today . Unless you knowledge of when purchased ,They are Geisha Doll representing a area and clothes symbolize a event . Is hair on last 2 painted on or hair. Need closer photos . The first doll has eyes like they started in 70's . 2nd doll from phot I can't make out what she is made of but would say also 70's .

three of them are Japanese judging from their Kimono. However, the first one is a KOREAN wearing Hambok. I believe it is of antiquity and is a rare find. it may be 1/2 of a Korean Wedding Doll.
