Still having a hard time finding things out and having them translated. Pitcher is of Portuguese Origin....Is 6" tall and is made of typical brown clay found in the region. The painting aspect is of a farm with woman tending to it. Will add more as I find out...Thx for all the help and Love...
i think that's english on the bottom. i can't read it though. there are some on cw who are really good at deciphering this kind of thing. it does not look like it's from south of the border. maybe north of the border?
Ok Thank you for that. Much appreciated...
The design also doesn't look South of the border. If anything this looks European to me, the headgear, the building style. Hope you get your answer!
Thank You KC
2nd word could be Finland...
Baby Powder will make the writing more legible... :)
PatSea.....Good morning.....I do believe you to be correct on this. I originally thought some type of Spanish influence here. Thank you for this. Because this piece is signed by the owner, does it make it more significant? It appears to have some age to it. I will go in and try to determine more of its origin. Always like to know exactly when something was made........Thanks again......John
Thx PDAM & Glass
Absolutely yes...Thank you
