Amethyst glass

I found these two purple glasses today at the thrift each one is a little different and they have applied glass around the bottom. I am not sure what exactly I have here or if it is junk. They both have a signature on the bottom but I can't make out what it is. Do these look familiar to anybody? Thanks for your help.
