I found this article that explains acouple marks: http://www.ebay.com/gds/About-15C-15ct-15K-625-Gold-Jewellery-Jewelry-Hallmark-/10000000008760453/g.html

Can you describe the other marks? The one to the left of the 15 and the two to the right of the 625 in the photo...:)
    13. bitsnbobs, 10 years ago
I'm just busy for 15 minutes then I'll get back to you, thanks for your time Jewels.x
    14. bitsnbobs, 10 years ago
Hi Jewels, the one to the left is the makers mark ,I can't make it out its rubbed off,the first one is an anchor ,I think the next is either a 2 or a z.Thanks.
    15. Jewels Jewels, 10 years ago
Hi again, this might be right from what I found on the web--the anchor points to Birmingham, England origins...? Please someone correct me if I'm wrong. Not sure about the 2 or z, I hope someone else chimes in :)
    16. bitsnbobs, 10 years ago
The last one to the right is the date letter e.
    17. bitsnbobs, 10 years ago
Your right it is Birmingham, and the letter is either 1878 or 1879.
    18. Jewels Jewels, 10 years ago
Ahh okay, I found this, is this which you're referring for the letter date? And would you maybe post a pic of the makers mark, maybe someone will know :)
