These chrome Art Deco bottle openers were also made by the Dura Company in Toledo Ohio as part of a giftware line, circa 1930's. Some of these that appear have the Dura stamp on them, but these are unmarked. They appear to depict a stylized elephant and donkey. My neighbor, who also collects Dura, believes they were designed as some sort of political memorabilia to represent the Republican and Democrat parties.
These are cool items , & very handy ;-)
