All-original 1976 Schwinn Junior Sting-Ray including the original functioning "Schwinn Approved" Sting-Ray speedometer/ odometer. The Juniors were made exactly like the popular Sting-Ray only with a little smaller frame, handlebars and seat. Same size 20" wheels/ tires. My research shows that Schwinn produced many more full-size Sting-Rays, making the Junior much more rare. To see more "muscle bike" pictures, please visit and "like" facebook.com/campedalcar
I like the added subtle touch of the colour-matched plastic-covered chain combo lock wrapped around the seat post. I so remember doing that! I don't recall ever seeing those dice valve covers though -- I doubt they would've lasted very long before getting swiped at the school bicycle stands. The bike is in amazing condition!
Thank you Kydur for your kind words. You are absolutely correct in that the dice valve caps were my little added touch and if I remember back to when I was a kid, a long time ago, I probably didn't even have covers on my valve stems. Along with no fenders, chain guard, handle grips, etc. As a matter of fact, check back to this site as I'm going to post a picture I just found of my muscle bike c.1970 or so. It will give a pretty good idea of how we treated our "rides."
