It's always been a dream of mine to one day have a beautiful crystal chandelier. As a little girl I would go to flea market in search of glass prisms to hang in my bedroom window. I kept them with me over the years hanging on to my dream. The years passed by and with them came children who would always find a way to brake my belongings. My Dad's favorite saying "I can never have nice things with you kids" oh how that was true. My children have grown up and the soccer ball is off to college. I was down to one glass pendent that hung in my kitchen window.
One day I came across a second hand store. Thinking maybe I could salvage some glass prisms to add to an old light.
I explained what I was looking for to a wonderful man with my dream in his pocket. There it was hidden in the back of the store room under layers of dirt, dust and smoke residue my chandelier.

It's more beautiful then I could imagined it would be.
If anyone could help me with the history I would be vary grateful. I have done endless searches on the internet looking for anything that looks similar to my chandelier. My guess would be made in Spain? It's 27 inches across and about 17 inches high.
I am missing the canopy and would like to find one to match it.
Also a lot of the chains were broken and I put it back together as best as I could match with what was existing but I am unsure if I did it correctly.
I think it is lead crystal of some kind. I was able to do a side by side with my glass pendent and there was a noticeable difference. It only had five pendants and I am wondering if I should add five more?
    Thank you,
to anyone who would be willing to share information with me or could give me tips on where I should look.

Does it appear to have been converted to elec.? Are there marks to show which arm goes where? Really old 1's are marked with matching numbers (usually Roman numerals, a number of punch marks, grooves etc.) I'm no expert, but know enough to be dangerous. What kind of marks may lead to the country of origin.

I don't see any numbers near the arms. I weighed it before I hung it up and it was 36 lb.
I had hoped that there would be a book out there about antique chandeliers or something. I guess that explains why I can't find any information.
I have been looking at the regency style and do see some similar features. It has been helpful to me and trying to find a matching canopy.
I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little envious that you have 9 chandeliers lol
Thank you, for taking the time to help me.

The one I had that belonged to the Campbell Soup heiress had 2 tiers & weight something like 50 kg! Took 3 boxes & 3 trips to fly it with me to St. Eustatius, N.A. from Jamaica. I'll try to poste a pic of it next time I'm in Statia (St. Eustatius). I gave it to the "hysterical" society when Queen Beatrice bought & donated my great house to the island. The hysterical even Bitc-hed about it being from the 19th century instead of the 18th! Talk about looking a gift horse in the mouth! Just can't please some people!
