These are two of my album covers I scanned and two of my 45's I scanned. Retouched to remove some ID's put on them. I have about 3000 45's, some as old as 1956.

I remember when that Elvis album came out and I think it is the best of Elvis. It's from this album that we see the King as we first knew him.
I AM A REAL FAN OF THE ELVIS MUSIC WE KNEW IN THE FIFTIES. YOU PROBABLY KNOW THAT THIS ELVIS PHOTO SHOOT WAS USED FOR SEVERAL ALBUMS AND EXTENDED PLAYS. I JUST FRAMED THIS ALBUM AND PLACED IT IN MY ANTIQUE SHOP FOR $75.
3000 45s!!what kinda music do you have mostly?how long u been collecting?I have about 450 45s alot of northern soul,garage,hip hop,pop etc.....
Almost all of it is Top 40 music although I have some sediment: Records where I bought a wad of cheapos to get the one or two records I could see. I have collecting albums and 45's for 52 years! My latest acquisition was "Bop-a-Doo, Bop-a-Doo" by Ralph Marterie Orchestra, #2 by Cashbox Magazine in about January. 1957. My oldest, I think, is "Hound Dog" by Elvis, my most precarious is "Rebel Walk" by Duane Eddy, with a radial crack all the way to the center (it still plays). I even have a Guy Lombardo. Now I collect mainly music and CD compilations that hae a record I never could find. I'm ruminating on buying "Great Balls of Fire" by Georgia Gibbs, but I hhave to spend $15-$20 for a whole album to get it. I'll put up more album covers later.
VIC'S COMMENT ON HIS FIRST RECORD PURCHASES GOT ME TO THINKING--IN THE LATE 1950s, WE PURCHASED 45 RPM ONLY.
IN THE EARLY 60s, THE FIRST 33 LP THAT I CLEARLY REMEMBER BUYING WAS THE CLASSIC FIRST ALBUM BY "PETER, PAUL, AND MARY".
OF COURSE I STILL HAVE THAT ALBUM AND IT STILL PLAYS.
MY CURRENT INTEREST IS 78 RPM RECORD CASES (USUALLY FOUR OF FIVE RECORDS). THE COLOR AND THE ARTWORK ON MANY OF THESE IS FANTASTIC.
