I Call It My "British Isles Desk"

This was purchased for my office in the mid-'80s at an auction warehouse in Los Angeles. When I saw the motto, "Viva ut semper vivas," I knew I had to have it. It means, "So live that you may live forever." This is a beautiful desk, I just don't know anything about it. Do you??
