I know this much but need help from anyone who can add to my minute knowledge.

It is an antique brass cluster of black stones ring
unknown history
beautiful cut faceted stones
heavy and unique

I adore this ring and would love to know more about the period and its origin, can anyone help?

Hard to say without seeing the back and the "underside" but looks modern.
