A not so often seen type of picture & says more than the proverbial 1,000 words. I'm fascinated by it. Thanks for posting.
I knew a farmer & blacksmith in the 60's who had a model A that he bought for his wife & she never learned to drive or want to. He showed it to me in a shed & was in perfect condition except a little pepper rust, cracked leather seats, dry rotted tyres etc. Said it only had 35 miles on it. What a treasure, & he wouldn't even talk about selling it. This brings back that memory. Thanks.

Why are you thanking me? I thank you. I've wondered why people thank the cashier at the store for taking your money! LOL! Nice poste that just brought back some memories.. Would have been good memories if the guy had sold it to me!
Many thanks for the love

Wow! Love it! Also the story is adorable as well ;)
I can imagine in those times a young woman trying to learn to drive, a big adventure!!
Many thanks for share Alan, always a pleasure!
And hense, from such humble beginnings, our troubles began, Virginia! Just kidding! Well, maybe! Tongue in cheek. LMAO!! With Jacky at the wheel, it's always an adventure, but not necessarily a good one!
Great story and photo, its always better when the photos are personal and the story behind them known..
