Cap gun from I think the 40's. You roll newspaper strips and compressed air makes the pop sound. My Great Aunt gave it to me and I think said it was made during WWII and because of rations they used paper. I have had it for over 50 years and always thought it was unique. Was always wanting to know the history of it. Says "Made in USA" has a logo that's' either lmco or cmco inside a triangle.
The company was LMCO (Langson Manufacturing Co.) of Chicago, Illinois
If memory serves me correctly, I think it does. These were converted by street gangs during the 50's and possibly early 60's. They were called ZIP guns. They would fire a knitting needle that was cut down to length. Nasty little thing.
Nice little Toy that was patented in 1937. Patent number 2083535.
