A friend of mine found these two old signs from the late 60's in a lower Alabama thrift store. They measure approximately 30 x 18, use regular light bulbs and are advertising Schaefer beer with African American women. They look very cool when lit up in the poker room and in great condition except one has a crack in the clear plastic front. You don't see many beer signs with African Americans which really makes these signs distinctive. I've never seen any like these nor have I found any in my searches. So, they must be few and far between! Schaefer closed their Brooklyn and Baltimore breweries in the early 70's. It is now distributed by Pabst. Any and all comments would be welcome!

I love these signs. Would your friend consider selling?
      Thank you,
