I fell in love with these dolls when I saw them at a local antique mall. They are all hand made with hand stitches faces they came in this wonderful decorated and tatted box, I just couldn't pass them up. They measure approximately 4 and 4 1/2", my thought is that it is they are representing a little girl and her nanny. They don't have any signatures but they were definitely lovingly made. If anyone has information they could share, I would love it.

Very nice ! I think they represent friends :-) probably one of a kind as they are homemade and decorated box was something maker had and added the same type of flowers as on dolls and added silk cover so done at same time . Late 1800's -1920's I would guess . Hard to date but priceless and I love them .
