This item was given to my mum about 65 years ago by a local priest. It had resided in his home for sometime before that. This figure was originally richly painted and you can still see some of the paint on the face and body. The clothes he wears were red. It is handmade from a single block of wood. There is an opening in the back. Would just like to know more about it.
