I bought these vases about 9 years ago always thought they were Harrach or Moser but most likely Harrach and late Victorian.
They are made of a smokey grey uranium glass , blue drips , handles and feet with mirror image matching lizards.
They stand 11" tall / 28cm , weigh over 2kg each and are both in perfect condition.
Any further information would be much appreciated.

      Beautiful!
The trouble with these is many never identified artists created these in home shops just for relaxation and fun. I have a cousin who could probably make millions if she'd open the doors of her backyard glassblowing shop. She has given me many gifts over the years which I'll never part with. She is THIS good, artistically. She names and numbers all her pieces but so far, has never sold nor exhibited a single piece. I bug her ALL the time about DATING, MARKING....CATEGORIZING...she won;t be here forever....
If she's that private about her art....their are probably others.

The quality and complexity of this piece goes well beyond any "home shop" creation.

I have seen attempts at applied pieces by modern craftsman and even the better examples are not remotely close to this piece.

Very Nice, I wish my lizard vase had more detailed lizards like this one, but I still love it, Awesome Vase!

I think Cyril Manley's book, 'Victorian Decorative Glass' features a similar piece. However, he mistakenly believes it to be of English attribution.
