Here is a recent find of mine that I thought I would share. It appears to be an American Indian stone that was used to start fires. It has a groove in it that your hand and thumb fits into perfectly. There is also a hole/slot that a stick fits into and can be turned to start a fire.it is about 3 inches by 2 1/4 inches.

So tell me what you think and please share what you know. If you can possibly date this it would be great, know what tribe it may have been from, or know what type of material the stone is made of it would be greatly appreciated. I look forward to the responses and thank you so much in advance. Have an awesome day everyone! :)
