    Here ya go Doc...remember I mentioned a pill box that resembled your brooch?

    I honestly don't know just how old this is but maybe Victorian...Art Nouveau? It is silver, marked .925 on the bottom.

    I suppose I accidentally removed the missing pieces on top while cleaning...oops! Confucius says: don't clean if you're angry! hahaha
    I didn't even know I did that till later.

      It's a very pretty pill box... Thanks for posting it.
      Agreed with not cleaning (at all)... Recently bought a gorgeous book chain necklace, brought it home, used windex (of all things) to clean it... And completely damaged the piece :(

      Hey Doc, I'm surprised windex actually damaged it, it could not have been silver and really I don't know much it would have damaged even if not silver! You may be able to polish it back to shine with a paste...

      Only clean very carefully (patient not angry)with a soft gold/silver cloth or a very very soft little brush and a soft sort of soap.
