A quick pic of my wood Rocking Chair my Dad bought for my Mom before he passed away. From SEARS, early 1970's. Have a Advertising page to show them listed at Sears and Date of Magazine.
Hard to believe that this chair is actually now about *42 years old* and in Super Fine condition. That is almost a half a century. I HAVE cherished this chair very much and care for it very well. It looks as good as the day it was purchased.
** There were several other Designs, Styles also in this same ad. I know it is here somewhere - will look for it

Yours in Carved at back....mine just has Gold on it.
Not saying yours is from Sears -- Just another suggestion to look at. They (Sears) also made other ones too (several) --- as DID many companies.

I have one just like it. My daughter gave it away 10 years ago and by an act of God, I was able to track it down yesterday, on Christmas Eve. I bought it for my ex-wife in 1972 at Sears. I've never seen one like it until, I saw this post. So glad to get it back.
I would love to see the ad, they were listed at. I forget what it cost, back then.
My mama passed a while back and was caregiver for her for 5 years she gave me everything I have a few other things furniture wise. I have to move soon and got no place to store anything.I’m on low income retired not in good health.thanks.
