I'm putting 2 Georgian brooches on here today, one you'll probably have seen before, unfortunately I deleted by accident some of my Jewellery a while back, I shall be putting some of them back on my post.
OK, both of these are 18ct gold and filigree. I'll start of with the larger one.
Agram.m will recognise this straight away.
It's the top part of a A la Jeanette, at the bottom centre you can see that it is thicker and this is were one of the 2 other parts would have hung.
It's a very pretty item, the two old table cut Diamonds are quite large and really sparkle, in between the two larger Diamonds are two tiny Diamonds, they are all set in gold. There are ten faceted silver panels, which are now tarnished, but in their day they would have sparkled like Diamonds. The filigree is in great condition and I feel privileged to have added this to my collection.
Next is one of my pieces that was accidentally deleted. It's a lovely little filigree brooch very intricate. Around the edges, are gold berries in between solid circles of gold. In the middle there is a curved line and above solid gold circles which look like a crown. I have had a 18 ct loop added so I can wear it as a pendant.
They are both from the Georgian period.

To be honest racer I spend more time than is good for me. Luckily I'm off on holiday in a couple of weeks, so no ebay and collector weekly. You know it's swing and roundabouts, you win a few and lose a few. But I'm very happy with these to. Thank you for your kind comments, I really appreciate them :-)

Yes thank you, I did have a great kip (sleep). Today I've had a top day pruning and general dogs body work. I'm now sat down, having a nice glass of Spanish vino, before I turn in for the night. I'm glad you had a nice sleep, lol, and here's hoping you have a top day today.

Thanks you BellaEpoque for your nice comment and love. I love both of them, they are both from the Georgian period, they look alike and yet different, the small one is very graceful and elegant, the larger one has more presence and attracts the attention.

Well we are even now I'm a few days behind also but not with the pleasure of going to buy treasures. I have been trying to change my sleep pattern for so long it isn't funny looks like it will never happen otherwise I wouldn't of started on my computer at this time of the morning just after 5 am but started at 4 am if only.
I know its not great when you can't sleep. I suppose you've tried the warm milk, and the counting of sheep backwards. May be you have something subconsciously on your mind. Have another half hour on your computer, make yourself a nice cup of warm milk with lots of sugar, then relax and think of nice things.
Thanks for the hints on getting to sleep but this does not work for me 1) I can't drink straight milk 2) I have already pushed the limits already no it boils down to my neighbour who has no consideration for others at all so he tells me well to can work that way & I don't like to play games. I have spoken to him on a few occasions & he knows my medical conditions. The last time I said something he told me he didn't care about other people. Well now he will see a side I me I don't show to often but when push comes to shove then I will shove back. The jerk had his TV blaring half the night last night then dragging table & chairs everywhere on top of that he started at about 5am throwing shoes from one end of his cabin to the other well shove has come I'll go to the office today his loss not mine. I have hardly heard a good word about this man in the 2 years since he has been my neighbour from anyone & fool me I kept defending him to those that know better no more. I believe in live & let live but be considerate. Anyway you have a great day as I will & hope all is well tonight at least I got 2 hours last night.
Neighbours can be a pain, luckily I don't have any in hearing distance. You take care, and has you say to me have a top day.
