Trinket Box with Mirror

I found this at a Flea Market. It really caught my eye. The person I bought it from said his wife had it for years and bought as is. The wood of what I can tell from the inside of the drawer looks to be walnut . This "trinket" box was constructed without nails . There is a rod connecting the mirror, so the mirror can move back and forth. This looks to be hand-painted also. I tried googling this, but came up empty handed. Would appreciate any information on this!
