This was my Great Grandmothers rocking chair. A good friend of mine said it was from the Victorian era 1800 -1899 and what it is worth,
1500-2500. Does anyone have anymore info on this rocker? I've never seen another one like it. Its still very sturdy and just my favorite piece of furniture

I just came across your photo of the rocker. I have this exact one. It belonged to my aunt. It was part of a suite of chairs. A "love seat" and regular chair with arms and a chair without arms. I was under the impression it was from the 1930s.

A photo of the back and bottom would be helpful.

I agree with nan-- would think this is 20th century.

Also the estimate of value is not accurate.
