Nice, Little Urn with Chrstaline Glaze and a Surprise!

i picked this piece up at goodwill today. it's signed Pepperwood Pottery. Pepperwood is a common name for Umbellularia californica - California Bay Laurel. the name sounded familiar and when i looked it up, i realized that i had been in his studio a few years ago when helping a friend evacuate his ranch because of some wildfires in Mendocino.
