Would look beautiful restored !
I have one just like this but now it is a wall mount. I do not know when the new fabrication was made, but the one I have looks exactly like this with the Spaniard Head on top etched in gold. I can read the back of the clock because portions of the label are missing. K. I. ?????E.E. is the name on the back. That is all the information I have as to the name, and I do not have a year. It is a really neat looking piece of family history, it was a gift from my Great Grandfather, to a friend.
I believe mine is called, Antique Seth Thomas "King Bee" Model Clock. Seth Thomas hanging clock, "King Bee", ca 1905. Made by Seth Thomas for the L. B. Price Co., Kansas City, Mo. per the label on the back, 8 day, half hour cathedral gong strike, alarms on a bell. There is a level on the base, brass ornaments on top. These clocks are not uncommon, and identical cases have been seen with the name, "King Jewett", made for L. B. Price.
