    I pick these WW2 sweetheart items up when they are cheap or unusual.

    This one fit in both categories.

    I could see this pin proudly displayed stateside by a girlfriend or wife to show support of her loved one's service.

    I hate to see rises in the price of silver-- it makes me sick thinking of how many of these have been melted down for silver content!
