These four pair of scissors belonged to my grandmother. How many dresses, diapers, dishtowels may have been cut by these scissors! No markings that I could find, either never had or they were worn or sharpened off long ago. I've looked to match their shapes, found nothing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for looking!
I bet they can tell a few stories. They look cute all different sizes, lined up in a row.

Thanks, Peasejean, yes I've often thought about their history and what they meant to my grandmother and our family. Thanks also for your comment about the photo, I had a similar photo of them posted on FB and an art dealer suggested I have it framed as a work of art. Some vintage objects can be very charming, can't they? :)
I think we have a really large pair somewhere I do remember them they were so well made & can get heavy.

Zowie, I can't speak to the craftsmanship, but I do know that as bad as they look, they work perfectly.
Great story and cool way to capture them...
Thanks for the love, DrFluffy, and your kind comment on the story and photo. :)

Ooops, nearly missed your comment, nutsabotas6, thank you, and thank you again, very kind. :)
99% of all the old thing's were made this way even when ruff. It wasn't a throw away world the way it is today, all made cheap to break so we have to go & by more. It usually doesn't matter what we pay for them they are made to break. Have a good day

Zowie, I agree, many things in the past were good quality and made to last. These pairs of scissors I imagine have lots of mileage on them, and still working good. Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment.
