Looking for some opinions or knowledge on this piece. Found it for a few dollars at the GW. I noticed it is marked T. & Co., which is why I bought it. The soldering looks pretty good, all of the links are closed, the Tiffany mark is struck evenly, and it is very heavy for its size. The only problem is that I do not recognize this style. Does anyone know for a fact it is or is not Tiffany? Or, do you think it is real? Thanks!!!!
The clasp does not look like the ones usually seen on Tiffany bracelets. And how is that signature plaque attached? It looks a little odd there.
the soldering does not look particularly outstanding, which i would expect from a Tiffany piece. but i've only seen gold and platinum bracelets from Tiffany & Co.
Hi, thanks nutsabotas, davyd, and ho2....i do think it is sterling. I agree that the piece attaching the placque is strange. it is a twisted loop, Ill try to get a better picture of it. I agree that the soldering is weak as well. After I looked at this under magnification I had major doubts.
It's cute & would suit someone in there early teens. My first thought was also Tiffany & don't be disappointed not finding it there I have my mums Tiffany watch from about 1963 I remember her wearing it & it's signed Tiffany I still cannot not find it. Have a good one today & every other day. I hope you post more of these items if you can I like seeing the males style in females jewellery.
