This is a set of folding utensils used by a troop member of the Girl Scouts of America. It has the Girl Scout logo on the green leather sheath and a pat. mark on the fork of 1926. It is in like new condition. The case is made of leather and is as supple as it was 89 years ago. The utensils fold up to fit the case and snap opened for use. The blade is marked Stainless Steel. I believe that the fork and spoon are made of stainless steel as well. The blade looks as it was never resharpened and I believe that I could shave with it, it is that sharp.
They trusted kids back then and so kids learnt risk management. They probably only have plastic knives now!
@ racer4our, plastic is too dangerous. So are illustrations of pointed things.
LOL of course! Don't even talk about it!
