Another classic from Per Lütken: Næbvaser or duckling vase
The ducklings are available in several colors, sizes and shapes, but common to them is the pear-shaped body and usually a ball sanded bottom. It looks great with a collection of different ducklings. Holmegaard produced them from 1952 to 1974.
I have seen them from 5 cm to 75 cm
The largest on my picture is

I saw a huge one here in Sydney 20 years ago! Unfortunately I could not afford the price which was being asked. A great regret. One that got away !

In my town (Aarhus) there is a very dedicated collector of Holmegaard especially Per Lütken and he has them in all sizes - Come to Aarhus and see for your self :-)
If I ever go to Denmark I will sure go there!!! and I'll try and go to every antique market too ;)
