great history!!!!
I was wondering if I should have these currency laminate, but I am afraid they might fall apart during the process. Yet they are showing sign of degenerating as is. Please help me preserve our history, so I can pass them on as our family keepsakes. Thank you . Lokeeffe
Yes, they have value and are collectible (esp. the Confederate currency).
Do NOT laminate them-- it DESTROYS the value. You can buy sleeves for them to help preserve them. Document protectors will work until you can buy smaller ones.

Hi
Okeeffel
Scott have this right, also if i can add something, use acid free paper to support them on the back, keep them in binder, protected from sunlight alway's.
Be aware to use only archive plastic sleeve, not the one you can have for cheap, they are little more expensive, but help to protect for long time to come.

Alan
Hi Scott & Alan ;
Thank you for the informations. Do you know where I can purchase the archive plastic cover? And how can I tell the difference between the regular plastic and the archive ones? Sincerely, O'KeeffeL
Any good photo store have them, they use also the sleeve for photo ,negative and all kind of documents for preserve it.
Well the price first and it say on it, Archive protector sleeve, depand of the company a guess.

ALan
Look for a coin/ currency dealer in your local area. They will have a sleeve that fits your currency.
Until you get the right size it will be fine in a traditional document protector.
