    Hello to everyone

The sword I have recently purchased. Whole length is ca 450 mm, short handle, ca 70 mm.
The seller thought that it is souvenir sword but I don't think so. The blade seems to be very strong, the tip very sharp, its weight is heavy.
I also added pictures. Seller said that he bought it from Germany, it belonged to a person who collected swords. He died and his collection was sold away afterwards. There were many swords in the collection, this is only one of them.
What do You think it is?
PS! Does anyone know any good forum where swords and blades?

Try searching under "Indian Talwar sword".

I'd have to agree with the seller-- more modern souvenir item.
