A lot of text on the back of this one which I'm still trying to work out. The pic is from 1923
Feel free to try and decypher it all!
This is one image from a decent collection all taken by a photographer in Poole, Dorset, UK.
There are card views and glass views in this collection so I will try and get all of them online.
I also have a lot of the more traditional mass-produced view, my collection is just under 600 at the moment - going to take a while to get them all online!
So 1923?
Is his boat called Miss Snow White, I wonder?
I think it starts "My little something and white build pond boat" - the missing word could just be another colour?
But what is a pond boat?
Something that a rich guy had in his pond and then later used it as a handy district cruiser?
The comments all seem a bit ironic?
He mentions the pond boat on another card - something to do with his brother's kids and what they used to use in the pond. I'd say that this guy had a bit of cash with all the boats and stereo camera, etc.
"my little Musselwhite dinghy"

such a very beautiful sterosview collection you have
Thanks - and a big thanks to Walksoftly who has found out some great info about Mr Coney - I'll approach the Poole museum and give them a copy of these views to add to their collection.
Try the Poole History site for Miss Preston too!
Miss Lily Preston - daughter of the landlords of the Shipwrights' Arms, William and Sarah Preston.
Mrs Preston is in the photos from Poole History album, that the above link is from.
You can see her here;
