I had been watching this ad is was still up after 2 weeks so! it was $200
then $100. I cant stand it any longer, its only 5 miles away glad I did, its look better than the picture. they were moving. luck me.
its just been in their entree way for past 30 some years
I haven't touch it yet, work and all, don't know where to start.
its has about 12 tube's a peramp for Phono. Am Fm Sw-1 Sw-2 195watt.
at bottom the center square you push in and it turn so a big speaker turn out, 10 or 12in. woofer box. this is a thing of beauty.! they don't make um
like they used too. it has Voice of Music 400 Phonograph , I think??
How did this turn out? I hope if you found it not functional you found someone to help make it so. I've had an H169 since 1979. I learned electronics in the Navy (and yes, we still used a lot of tubes!) so working on mine has been easy. My kids routinely turn it on and listen to it. My son Andrew, now 7, I remember well his first time turning it on. It was on FM and he had the volume up...when the tubes warmed up, it was AC/DC's Hell's Bells! Very funny!
