Here is a paster card depicting a Baldwin Locomotive Work's engine built for the Union Pacific Railroad. These "Pasters" or "Builder's Cards" were passed out by sales reps to prospective buyers associated with other railroads.
The photo gives really good detail of the locomotive, and the reverse describes the engine's specifications and capabilities.
The other big locomotive builders, ALCO and Lima, also passed out such sales material. And some lines who built some of their own power, such as the N&W, did the same.
