These Builder's Cards issued by The American Locomotive Works (ALCO), of Schenectady, NY, describe two engines that they had produced for The Union Pacific RR. Such cards were passed out as part of a sales pitch to prospective buyers from other roads.

Really sharp images connote the detail of these engines, and the reverses give the engineering and capability specs of these two locomotives.

Sadly, such cards are the only reminders of these beauties, as most were relegated to the scrap heap following dieselization…...

Where did you find these? They definitely need to be framed with the other one you posted.

Hi, Trey…thank you! Ha, ha…I did have them framed, along with a few others, in a double glass frame (so that both sides could be seen). Unfortunately, some workmen at my home accidentally knocked the frame off of the wall. I will have them reset in a new frame at some point, and will post some of the other cards…there seems to be interest in this type of item. I also have a number of other steam locomotives displayed in the same manner, and should try to have them posted, too.

I obtained these, and the others, through EBAY. They are a big part of my collection.

Again, thanks for your comments and interest!
