I bought this vase because it is clearly from the same stable as the pair I posted earlier and I just love them. I was not sure what the flower was but others were....thank you mikelv85 and Michelleb007. As with the pair the enamelling is glossy, making a nice contrast with the matt glass. The vase is only 1 cm. taller than the pair but seems bigger because it is also wider.
Height 13 cm./5 inches Diameter 5.5 cm./2 inches
WONDERFUL VASE SKLO

Lovely :).... I would say it's an Orchid
sklo42, I'd agree with an orchid - look at images of the Miltonia orchid (the 'pansy orchid') - I'd say it is a pretty good match! For the smaller pair, I'd say wild or dog roses - they only have five petals, smaller leaves, and thorns. :)
Thank you mikelv for identifying the flower as an orchid, and you Michelle for which orchid, amazing! Incidentally I got my original id for the pair from Keble Martin so I think I'll settle on wild roses.
